  • Courtney Grimes, LCSW | Owner/Founder | Clinical Director

    Courtney’s passion for helping others is evident upon meeting her. Through the power of acceptance and commitment, Courtney is able to facilitate lasting change among individuals, families and systems by promoting hope throughout all circumstance. Throughout Courtney’s work as a psychotherapist at Symmetry Counseling, and Clinical Director for the non-profit Renewed, she realized there was a large gap in treatment services for anxiety and depression in Nashville. The Extended Outpatient program is designed to bridge the gap between IOP and OP services, while providing a welcoming community for clients.

    Mackenzie Fox is a Nashville native who holds a Master’s of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. She specializes in treatment of anxiety & depression and co-occurring disorders including eating disorders, substance abuse, and trauma. As a team member of The Collective, Mackenzie aims to bring authentic, trusting and supportive energy to everyone she encounters and cultivate that within others.

    Avery is the Director of Admissions at The Collective. From the very beginning of our establishment in 2020, Avery has been an integral part of our journey as a founding member. With a passion for creating a supportive and nurturing environment, she has been instrumental in shaping and developing the collective into what it is today.

    Avery’s role involves overseeing all non-clinical aspects of the program, ensuring that each individual's experience is seamless and tailored to their unique needs. Avery’s background in administration allows me to navigate the intricate details that contribute to our collective success.

    Erica loves helping individuals through their anxiety, depression and grief. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Erica's past experience includes working as a clinical hospice social worker, where she helped patients and families through the end of life transitions, complicated grief, and traumatic loss. She has also worked in multiple settings with families and children with extensive histories of trauma.

    Born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Tennessee, Chris received an Education Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Middle Tennessee State University. He specializes in the treatment of anxiety and depression, and works with co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse, trauma, and relationship abuse. Chris deeply believes in The Collective’s community and is thrilled to welcome clients into its living and breathing social health philosophy.

    Born and raised in New Jersey, but a proud two time graduate from the University of Missouri, Clare is excited to bring her wide range of experiences to The Collective. Clare is a Licensed Master of Social Work who is eager to serve her community. She has worked with a variety of clients in the juvenile and prison settings and through that has found a passion for access to mental health services as a preventative health care measure. She has also worked with family units and with teens during their high school to college transitions.     Jamison is a native of Franklin, TN and completed her nutrition and dietetics degree at the University of Tennessee before migrating up north to Boston, MA to complete her Masters degree in Nutrition along with her dietetic internship at Simmons College. She enjoys helping clients find healthier relationships with both food and their bodies by using an evidence-based, non-diet, Health at Every Size (HAES) approach in her nutrition counseling.

    Anne Rankin Meade, APN, is a board-certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Having graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing with her Masters of Science in Nursing degree in 2007, she has had sixteen years of experience both as an ICU nurse, as well as in the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner role. Licensed to treat clients across the lifespan, she utilizes a holistic approach to mental health, and seeks to help each client improve their overall quality of life by being a true patient advocate.

    Erin Watt is an experienced consultant and Holistic Relationship Coach known for her empathetic yet direct style of working with clients - especially those wanting to improve attachment issues in relationships.
